Do you have clothes with holes in them? A missing button on your favorite jacket? Join us for a mending and sewing workshop. This class is beginner level with a focus on hand-stitching techniques and interesting visible mending methods. All levels are welcome, and several machines will be available.
Bring an item or two from your wardrobe in need of fixing or something you’d like to add some spice to! All sewing materials will be included as well as some fabric and special thread to use for mending.

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
