Join Dr. Carol Wroblewski, a Food for Life instructor for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, to learn how fueling up on low-fat, high-fiber foods can help fight cancer. Participants will have the opportunity to sample three plant-based dishes and take home the recipes.
This is the second class in a two-part series that Dr. Wroblewski is teaching at Central Library in October as part of a Let’s Beat Breast Cancer campaign. Participants may register for one or both classes.
This program is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation and is in partnership with the Indiana Lifestyle Medicine Network.
The Indiana Lifestyle Medicine Network is dedicated to working with individuals and communities to prevent, manage, and in some cases reverse chronic diseases. They educate patients on the benefits of establishing healthier habits. For more information, go to IndianaLifestyleMedicine.org.
