Join us for this hands-on project to make your own easy seed paper to take home and plant some native plants.
Late fall is a great time to plant native seeds! We'll be preparing some coneflower and milkweed seeds for the winter.
Seed paper is a plantable paper with seeds in it. The paper decomposes and lets the seeds grow into something beautiful or tasty. At this workshop we will be creating our own seed paper with native flowers. Our paper won't be as messy as the traditional seed paper, and it will be even more awesome that it includes these awesome specialty seeds.
Registration is not required, but encouraged to help plan supplies.

Following years of volunteer-staffed service in an empty church building, a permanent library serving Franklin Township, the Wanamaker Branch, opened in 1969 on Southeastern Avenue. To meet the needs of a rapidly growing township, the branch was replaced in 2000 by the current 18,000-square-foot Franklin Road Branch.
