In this writing workshop you will create contrast and connection among multiple points of view, settings, topics, or time periods.
Some narratives are best told in pieces. A braided essay creates contrast and connection among multiple points of view, settings, topics, or time periods. Writers will learn some of the tricks from the masters of this form and then spend time in a generative exercise.
Made possible by The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund through a grant to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
Be sure to check out the writing workshops at other library branches this summer and fall; and mark your calendar for Meet an Author, Be an Author on October 21, 2023 at Central Library for more writing workshops and connections with local authors and writers.
