Play big games at the Playground, get a temporary tattoo at the Tattoo Parlor, and write letters to thank first responders at the Post Office. Get information from community partners in our neighborhood about food, housing, medical care, and more.
Join Daniel by giving to our neighbors! Bring lip balm to donate to Riley Children’s Hospital.
Please note:
- Sensory Hour is from 9-10 a.m.
- Sing and dance with the Latin-Grammy winning duo 123 Andrés at 10:45 a.m.
- See animals up close with Silly Safaris at 12:30 p.m.
- Storytimes from IndyPL librarians every half hour (English on the hour, Spanish on the half hour)

About the branch
As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
