Emily Ann Thompson is a professional violinist & fiddler, specializing in Celtic fiddle (Irish fiddle, Scottish fiddle, & Canadian fiddle), American old-time & bluegrass fiddle, classical violin, and jazz violin. Circulating Sounds concerts occur on the 2nd Sundays of the month at 2:00 at Central Library in the Clowes Auditorium, with bonus concerts scheduled as opportunities arise. They feature a variety of musical styles, genres, and communities in Marion County.

About the branch
As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
