You are encouraged to attend all three sessions but may choose to join us for any single session if you wish. This series will demonstrate all skills using Word Online in Chrome Web Browser on a Windows 10 computer.
You must be comfortable using a mouse, typing with a keyboard, and navigating to websites to successfully complete these classes. Participants may also benefit from pre-requisite knowledge of OneDrive; You are encouraged to explore the free set of lessons one OneDrive linked here from GCFLearnFree.

Explore Microsoft Word Online, the free online version of Word. Discover the interface, learn the basic terminology of Word documents, and delve into how to create, format, and save text in Word files.
Level 2 - Wednesday, July 27, 3:30PM-5:30PM
Lists, Images, and Page Layouts
Explore how to add emphasis and create interesting document designs using lists, images, and page layout options. Understanding of Level 1 content is required for this session.
Level 3 - Wednesday, August, 3:30PM-5:30PM
Tables, Collaboration Tools, and Sharing
Discover how to add structure to your document with tables and use the cloud-based sharing and collaboration tools offered by Word Online. Understanding of Level 1 and Level 2 content are required for this session.

The Beech Grove Public Library has served the City of Beech Grove since 1951 when it opened at a storefront location. Its current building, dating back to 1953, has undergone four renovations and additions, the most recent in 2019. In 2016, the library merged with The Indianapolis Public Library to become the Beech Grove Branch, IndyPL’s 23rd branch location.
