Explore how maps of real places and imaginary worlds can be woven into technology-rich learning experiences across content areas.

Use the maps found in fiction books for children and young adults to jumpstart 21st century skills and a passion for reading. Leave with a list of over 100 fiction books and dozens of activity ideas that help young people develop a passion for maps and reading both inside and outside school.

Speaker: Annette Lamb, PhD. is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Library and Information Science at IUPUI.
