CBLC Book Fest 2020 (Virtual): Blacks and the Vote

Join us for this special online event presented by the Center for Black Literature & Culture (CBLC) at Central Library featuring notable authors and discussion surrounding the theme, "Blacks and the Vote." Included will be a keynote address and moderated panel conversation.

Featured speaker at 1 p.m. will be Priestley Johnson (pictured), Deputy Director of Partnerships and Outreach for When We All Vote, a non-profit, non-partisan organization whose mission is to increase voter participation in elections. At 1:35 p.m., poet and Indianapolis native Allyson Horton will do a poetry reading, followed by a panel discussion moderated by the Leader of the CBLC, Nichelle M. Hayes.
