Families with children ages 3 and up are invited for a special ballet story time with Ballet Theatre of Indiana. They will hear about the Nutcracker story, based on E.T.A. Hoffmann's work, and take part in a short ballet lesson.

The 20,000-square-foot Michigan Road Branch provides greater access to Library services and collections, engaging spaces for children, teens and adults, more computers, and a large community room. The branch opened in December 2018.
