Day of Play for All Ages!

10:00am - 3:00pm
Play is not just for kids! Families are invited for all-ages recess, live demonstrations of international games, a yo-yo champion, free arcade, chalk art, balloon sculpting, Legos, and much more! Fun on all six levels of Central Library. Come play with us!
All day opportunities include a cardboard fort, a ball room, board games, puzzles, arcade games, chalk art with a professional chalk artist, retro PC desktop games, art play, and more!
Scheduled events:
- 10:15 a.m. Recess: parachutes, hula hoops, and jump ropes
- 10:30 a.m. Chinlone
- 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Bubbles, bubbles, BUBBLES!
- 11 a.m. Tinikling
- 12 p.m. Yoyo
- 1 p.m. Balloon sculpting and Indy Eleven
- 2 p.m. Recess: parachutes, hula hoops, and jump ropes

Central Library
As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
