Seniors and other adults are invited to listen to a read-aloud of some poems and a short story, followed by a discussion.
This program is for seniors and adults who enjoy listening to stories. It is especially beneficial for people who face barriers that prevent them from enjoying literature. Staff will read aloud poems and a short story, as well as lead a discussion on the pieces that are selected. Everyone is welcome, no registration required.
A new library for the rapidly-expanding area of suburban Washington Township was made possible by the donation of a 2.56 acre lot from Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Eiteljorg in 1968. The Nora Branch opened in 1971 on North Guilford Avenue and was expanded to 18,500-square-feet in 1990.
