Join staff and volunteers from the Alzheimer's Association of Indiana to learn about the connections between brain and body health. Registration is not required but you will receive an email reminder (and it can help us plan).
For centuries, we've known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how lifestyle choices may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. This course teaches about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement.
These workshops are provided in partnership with the Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Learn more at their website where you can also connect to local resources. You can also learn more using these book lists from library staff.

Decatur was the first township outside of Center Township to receive a branch library when the Marwood Branch opened in 1967 in a storefront location. Strong library usage throughout the township demonstrated the need for a new 11,300-square-foot branch that opened on Kentucky Avenue in 1990 as the Decatur Branch and continues to serve the community today.
