Using minimal products, participants will learn how to create and take home two professional-quality prints. Whether you're new to art or looking to try something unique, this hands-on workshop will leave you with new skills, creative confidence, and a set of prints to show off!

Instructor Amanda Keller is a full-time artist, illustrator, and teacher with over 20 years of experience bringing creativity to life through various mediums. Her passion lies in storytelling through art, and she loves inspiring others to explore their own artistic potential.

About the branch

The first library to serve the neighborhood opened in 1957 as the Emerson Branch. This frame house near East 38th Street and North Emerson Avenue soon became too small to meet the neighborhood's needs, leading to the construction of a 7,500-square-foot branch at the same location in 1962. The Emerson Branch closed its doors in 2003 when the current 16,000-square-foot library opened as the East Thirty-Eighth Street Branch.
