Join us in The Center for Black Literature & Culture! Children ages 4-8 will learn about the design process, control structures, and algorithms in these hands-on workshops led by WFYI. Sessions build on each other so attending each week is ideal, but not required! Meet Lyla on May 20!
This workshop series focuses on the PBS Kids show, Lyla in the Loop, and helps children ages 4-8 learn about designing, testing, and improving--all skills needed for computational thinking! Activities will build on each other to learn more about algorithms and control structures, all through interactive experiences tied to the Loops family.
This program is presented by our community partner, WFYI.
Please register all family members participating for planning purposes!
As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
