• Amy Johnson is a tourism, events, and hospitality lecturer at Indiana University—Indianapolis. Her career began with an interest in the world through the lens of the geography of place and people, emphasizing the importance of embracing different cultures as a global community. She shares her passion with students through her tourism geography courses and active involvement in worldwide study abroad programs for tourism and other students.
• Dr. Amanda Cecil is a professor and industry expert in tourism, event management, and hospitality at Indiana University—Indianapolis. With a career dedicated to research, education, and workforce development, she has played a key role in shaping the future of event and tourism professionals. She serves on the Board of Directors for Tourism Tomorrow at Visit Indy and Discover Boone County.

This free online program is part of the Culture, History, and Society programs hosted by the Indianapolis Special Collections Room (ISCR). It is being held as an online meeting/webinar via Zoom.
