This event is being held as an online meeting/webinar. You will be emailed login instructions approximately 24 hours before the event.

Starting November 11th, we’re exploring Black Girls Must Die Exhausted by Jayne Allen.

Black Girls Must Die Exhausted by Jayne Allen is available as a print book, an audiobook CD, an e-book, and as a downloadable audiobook in the Library's collection.

"Meet Tabitha Walker, a 33-year-old news reporter navigating the complexities of her life as a Black woman today. Her grandmother's haunting words resonate through the generations, challenging Tabitha to confront the realities of race, identity, and the weight of expectations in contemporary society."

Come share your thoughts, connect with fellow readers, and engage in meaningful conversations that celebrate Black literature and culture. Whether you’re an avid reader or just looking for a welcoming space to discuss important themes, we would love to have you with us!

Join us as we turn the pages of history, resilience, and hope together.

About the branch

This is not a real library branch - this is the "location" for our events that occur online. Online events that take place on Zoom should all involve registration and a link will be emailed to participants. Other online events may occur on YouTube or Facebook, and will not require registration.
