Join us for this delightful time supporting both caregivers of adults, and those who receive care. If that is you - or if you would like to sit alongside your neighbors in this program, come on in to this every-other-week program!
Join Amy for chair-based yoga for caregivers to practice your breathing techniques, and improve your heart rate, mental focus, and relaxation. Chair yoga is a relaxation that also energizes body and mind by connecting breath to stretches and gentle movements. This activity improves posture, flexibility, balance, strength, and mind/body awareness. It helps to promote more steadiness and confidence in one’s body along with an overall sense of well-being and peace. We will have intermittent meditative music to accompany the class and close with a brief meditation.
Care receivers (and everyone) are welcome to join us for social hour featuring music, games, arts and crafts, and other ways of connecting.

The Beech Grove Public Library has served the City of Beech Grove since 1951 when it opened at a storefront location. Its current building, dating back to 1953, has undergone four renovations and additions, the most recent in 2019. In 2016, the library merged with The Indianapolis Public Library to become the Beech Grove Branch, IndyPL’s 23rd branch location.
