Help us celebrate Southport Library’s 50th birthday by joining us to hear some highlights about how the city of Southport went from a sparsely populated wilderness to the bustling city we know today.

Get your face painted by members of the Fabulously Fun Company

Silly Safaris Meet and Greet
Meet up to three animals at these casual drop-in sessions presented by Silly Safaris. Ask your question and take a picture with the critters.

PAWS to Read
Children can work on their reading skills by visiting one of our volunteer therapy dogs. Please contact the branch to register.

Burmese Cultural Dance
Come see a traditional Burmese dance presented by the Burmese American Community Institute.

Summer Storytime at Southport
Children and families of all ages are invited for an active class featuring stories, songs, and rhymes focusing on summer fun.
